Well everybody,
It's user rlt again and man it is getting mighty hot here in West Central Alabama and the crappie have moved to there summer time deep water areas for the summer, but I took my secret crappie fishing weapon to a slough off of the Black Warrior River and anchored down right over some sunken tree tops in about 14' of water. I lowered my crappie secret weapon down into the water and waited for some action to start. I got there at about 9:00 pm and by 9:38 pm I caught my first crappie that was 13.5 " long. The action increased very quickly and I caught the limit (30) before midnight arrived.
