Well the water is comming up some already and the season is looking pretty good. Theres alot of activity and the crappie should start their spawn in a few weeks. We caught a few nice stripes and spots there yesterday. When the water gets up more I think it will be a great season

Have you ever launched at Smith lake park and if standing on the ramp looking at the water took a right and went to the bridge there, about a mile. I think it is called Ryan's creek. We had pretty good luck with Largemouth over there in the mornings. I am new to Aabama and live in Hayden. I am slowly trying all the lakes in the area. Any tips would be greatly appreachated.
