Hey everyone,
It's user rlt in West Central Alabama. I went crappie fishing up from the city landing yesterday up the Tombigbee River and caught 17 crappie with the drop shot method in water ranging from 25' to 30' deep along red clay bank ledges using 2" curly tail plastic grub jigs. They are in the deep water during the daytime hours except early in the morning and late in the evening. I don't think this pattern is going to change much unless we get some high water or cooler temperatures.
